Vitality eliminated Astralis from IEM Chengdu 2025

Dan "apEX" Madesclaire's team reached the third semi-finalist position at the IEM Chengdu 2025 Counter-Strike 2 tournament, currently underway in China.

In the first round of the playoffs, Vitality defeated Astralis with a scoreline of 2-1 (13-7 on Inferno, 14-16 on Nuke, 13-7 on Mirage). The Danes finished 5th-6th in the competition and earned $12,500 in prizes. Vitality, in turn, advanced to the next round of the bracket, where they will face MOUZ tomorrow.

IEM Chengdu 2025 is taking place from November 3-9, 2025, in Chengdu, China, with 16 squads participating. The prize pool for the event is $300,000. Detailed information about the tournament can be found in our article.
