ESIC collects data on anonymous organiser of match fixes

The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) has publicly announced an investigation into attempted organisation of match fixed at the top level of the CS:GO competitive scene. Currently, data is being collected about a person under the nickname DEzCurse, who was in contact with esports athletes.

According to published information, ESIC has evidence that DEzCurse, through Discord approached several top-level pro players with the goal of organising match fixes. Other details of the criminal actions have not been disclosed.

Notably, soon after, a former member of Nemiga and Budapest Five, Artem "Chill" Mankevich, confirmed the involvement of the aforementioned DEzCurse in organisation of match fixes. The Belarusian esports athlete published screenshots of correspondence where the interlocutor is trying to persuade him into unfair game.
