Paqueta to suspend operations amidst allegations of owner betting on himself

Brazilian organization Paqueta is forced to sell the roster and temporarily leave the pro scene. This was shared by GameArena, journalists of which managed to talk with the club's management.

It all started a few weeks ago when Lucas Paqueta, a West Ham football player and owner of the Paqueta organization, got into a scandal. The Football Association of England launched an investigation into the accusations of the Brazilian for betting on himself.

Because of this, the Paqueta club lost sponsorship from bookmakers, which were the main source of funding for the roster. As a result, the organization is forced to put the players on the transfer list and temporarily suspend operations until the end of the proceedings.

The club is reportedly in talks to sell players through the Heaven agency. It is unknown if the players and coaching staff will continue their careers in the same organization, or if they will go separate ways.

Paqueta's latest lineup looks as follows:

Lucas "DeStiNy" Bullo
Carlos "venomzera" Eduardo
Gabriel "nython" Lino
Wesley "hardzao" Lopes
Paulo "short" Ballardini

João "righi" Righi (coach)
