harumi: NAVI paid over $1 million for transfers of the newcomers

The acquisition of three new players in the recent off-season costed NAVI a little over $1 million, as insider Vlad "harumi" Radvilovich shared via his Telegram channel.

In the summer off-season, Mihai "iM" Ivan, Justinas "jL" Lekavicius and Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen joined NAVI. The European players were bought out from GamerLegion, Apeks and NIP, respectively.

Notably, in the official announcement of the roster change, the Ukrainian club did not disclose transfer costs. At the same time, according to insiders, the Black-and-Yellow could have received over $2 million for the transfer of Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy and Denis "electroNic" Sharipov to Cloud9.

The ongoing IEM Coogne 2023 became the debut tournament for the updated NAVI roster. The team placed 7th-8th, losing to Astralis in the match for advancing to playoffs.
