CSPPA may have ceased operations

The Counter-Strike Professional Players' Association (CSPPA) may have ceased operations, as HLTV.org Head of Operations Zvonimir "Professeur" Burazin noticed.

Via his Twitter, Professeur shared that the CSPPA website is no longer reachable, as the association did not renew the domain registration. Moreover, he found out that the players who used to be members of the CSPPA no longer work with the organization.

Notably, the association has not officially announced the ceasing of the operations. At the same time, the last CSPPA's tweet was made last fall.

At the time of publication, only three current members of the association are listed on the CSPPA Liquipedia page, including Chris "chrisJ" de Jong, Dan "apEX" Madesclaire and Max "MiGHTYMAX" Heath. They provided no comments on the information about the closure of the organization.

The association was a mediator between tournament operators and professional esports athletes. In particular, CSPPA dealt with significant issues of the pro-scene, including setting the dates of the summer and winter breaks between the tournaments, as well as creating a schedule of the events that is convenient for the players.
