Dexerto: maLeK to return to role of coach in Evil Geniuses; Vorborg departs team

North American club Evil Geniuses are planning to change a coach, putting Damien "maLeK" Marcel back in the role, as Dexerto reported, citing their own sources.

Daniel "vorborg" Vorborg is expected to step down as Evil Geniuses' coach. The Danish coach has been leading the team since August 2022, but during this time has not achieved any significant success.

In turn, maLeK led Evil Geniuses' roster from December 2021 to May 2022. However, the Frenchman departed the team due to a conflict with Jake "Stewie2K" Yip. However, Marcel returned to the club at the end of last year, taking on the role of strategic coach.

Evil Geniuses are currently updating the roster. Earlier it became known that the club managed to agree on the transfers of Aleksandr "zorte" Zagodyrenko and Audric "JACKZ" Jug. In addition, the organization is interested in signing Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski and Denis "electroNic" Sharipov.
