According to FalleN, BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 could be last CS:GO tournament

Imperial's AWPer and IGL Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo said during a live broadcast that BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 could be the last big event in CS:GO. Dust2 Brasil provided the words from Brazilian's stream.

Are we practicing in Counter-Strike 2? Yes, but we have two more CS:GO tournaments ahead of us. In addition to ESL Brazil Premier League Season 14, at which we will compete for an EPL spot, we have to participate in the event in Washington in June, which will probably be the last in CS:GO. Eight of the best rosters in the world will compete here, including Imperial.

To this day it is unknown when the transition of the pro-scene to Counter-Strike 2 will take place. Valve still has not disclosed the official date of the full-fledged release.

However, the tournament operator ESL recently admitted that IEM Cologne 2023 could take place in Counter-Strike 2. However, then the organizers did not name specific dates when they would announce the future of the event
