dupreeh sets absolute record for number of CS:GO Majors played

Vitality's Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen has set an absolute record for the most Majors played in CS:GO. After successfully advancing to BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, the Dane qualified for his nineteenth Major.

A similar achievement among the teams belongs to NAVI, which also visited all Majors in the history of the discipline.

Before the start of the qualifying cycle, Rasmussen was already considered the record holder among the players, since last year's IEM Rio Major 2022 allowed him to overcome the threshold of eighteen Majors. Then he ousted Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth and Richard "shox" Papillon, who will also miss the upcoming Major in Paris.

Moreover, dupreeh is one of the record holders for the number of wins at the Major tournaments. Between 2017 and 2019, he secured four out of six Major titles with Astralis.

BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 will play out from May 8 to 21 in Paris, France. At the tournament, 24 rosters will compete for $1.25 million in prize money.
