Report: CLG Red's future in question after organization was sold

Reputable esports journalist Travis Gafford reported that CLG's owners sold the organization and laid off all employees, including the female CS:GO lineup CLG Red.

CLG Red was assembled in 2015. Subsequently, the roster won a number of North American tournaments, which reinforced their status as the undisputed leader of their region.

In addition to their success at the national level, CLG Red is one of the strongest teams at the ESL Impact women's league. Since the event's launch in 2022, the team have secured the 3rd-4th and 5th-6th places in the first and second seasons, respectively.

CLG Red currently competes at ESL Impact League Season 3 North America. The team won all four matches in the group stage, advancing to the playoffs, where rosters will battle it out for two tickets to the LAN finals.
