Evil Geniuses to replace Detonate at Americas RMR

North American roster Evil Geniuses took Detonate's slot at the upcoming Americas RMR, as the event's organizers announced via their Twitter account, citing the rulebook.

This morning it became known that Detonate will miss out on the RMR event due to the inability to field the full roster. The team lost two players at once, but the organizers rejected a request for the second replacement.

As Evil Geniuses finished the closed qualifier in eighth place, Sanzhar "neaLaN" Iskhakov's squad secured a berth at the upcoming tournament according to the rulebook. At the same time, to minimize disruptions to preparations, Evil Geniuses have been given Detonate's tournament seeding.

The Americas RMR will play out from April 6-9 in Monterrey, Mexico. According to the approved schedule, Evil Geniuses will face Imperial in the first round.
