huNter- claims IEM Katowice 2023 MVP award

G2's Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač has been named the best player of IEM Katowice 2023 by HLTV.org. The Bosnian won the MVP award after leading his team to victory at the tournament.

huNter- ended the prestigious event with an average rating of 1.21. The player recorded his highest rating on the second map of the semifinals against Liquid (1.46), with the lowest one being on the first map of the Group A upper bracket final versus NAVI (0.99).

It is worth mentioning that this is the second time Kovač has been awarded the MVP medal. Previously, he was honored as the most valuable player of cs_summit 5.

IEM Katowice 2023 took place from February 1-12. In the grand final, G2 defeated Heroic 3:1, earning $400,000 from the total prize pool.
