NAVI Head of Esports on npl: "We believe in him so we'll give him time. He's gonna play with us"

NAVI Head of Esports Amiran "ami" Rekhviashvili commented in a video for the club's YouTube channel on the development of the team's latest addition Andrii "npl" Kukharskyi and spoke about his prospects. According to the manager, the young Ukrainian has the full backing and will be given the necessary time to hone his game.

He was our academy player. We haven't been making any transfers for 3-4 years now as we put faith in our youngsters. Of course they need to gel. Just look at young players who joined tier-1 teams, like b1t and m0NESY, it took them about 6 months to get going. We have to integrate him fast but I'd rather we eased him in. In his interview, B1ad3 said we were considering playing some tournaments with sdy, but that's how things are now. There's a lot of pressure on him and he needs time. It's not all about the player. NAVI is a team with its own nuances, and it's not easy to become part of the roster with s1mple, electronic, b1t. All of them are great players. He needs time. Time will tell how much time he needs. I believe in him, and we believe in him so we'll give him time. He's gonna play with us, so it's no problem at all.Our main goal is to do well in Katowice and prepare for the Paris Major.

npl has been playing for NAVI since the end of last year. He originally joined the team as a sixth player and went on to fully replace Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev before the start of the new competitive season.
