G2 and Rare Atom are new leaders of Valve's Regional Standings

Valve's Regional Standings, used to determine invites in the Major-qualifying cycle, has been updated. Following the conclusion of the first competitions in the new season, the frontrunners of both the European and Asian regions have changed.

In Europe, the No. 1 spot now belongs to G2, who climbed three positions to dethrone Heroic. The top three also saw Outsiders and FaZe swap places.

The changes concerned the rest of the European list as well, with Bad News Eagles being the only new addition to the top 15. The Kosovan team gained five spots and displaced Copenhagen Flames.

The Europe ranking's top 15 is as follows (full ranking):

In the ranking for Americas, Liquid remain in the lead by a substantial margin. FURIA, Complexity and paiN also retained their positions among the top teams, while Fluxo slipped to 11th place, freeing its spot to Evil Geniuses who demonstrated the greatest progress in the region.
