HLTV.org: Cloud9 set to sign buster

Cloud9 have decided to sign former Virtus.pro player Timur "buster" Tulepov after weeks of trials and talks, according to a report by HLTV.org who received this information from multiple sources.

The Kazakhstani esports athlete will replace Timofey "interz" Yakushin, who, according to rumors, was removed from Cloud9's starting five a month ago.

In mid-December, insider Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov reported that it was buster who Cloud9 intended to sign and who then shared a place on the shortlist of candidates for a vacant spot on the team with Igor "Forester" Bezotecheskiy and Sanjar "SANJI" Kuliev.

Buster is expected to make his debut for Cloud9 at IEM Katowice 2023 in early February. The roster of the North American organization will start the prestigious event from the Play-In.
