Apeks announce new IGL

Apeks have announced on their official website the signing of 22-year-old Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski. The North Macedonian esports athlete will take over the captaincy of the international roster.

kyxsan's last team was BLUEJAYS, which he represented for just over a year. During this time, he helped the squad win two consecutive International Esports Federation (IESF) world championships and ESEA Advanced Season 41 Europe.

Stoilkovski will replace Martin "STYKO" Styk as Apeks' in-game leader. Under the leadership of the previous captain, the roster did not achieve any success and soon after its inception parted ways with Richard "shox" Papillon, and subsequently unsuccessfully trialed several candidates for the role of the fifth player, including Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand and Michał "MICHU" Müller.

Apeks' next matches will take place at ESL Challenger League Season 44 Europe. The league will be held online and will kick off on January 17.

 Apeks' current lineup is:

 Tim "nawwk" Jonasson
 Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad
 Martin "STYKO" Styk
 Justinas "jL" Lekavicius
 Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski

 Jakub "kuben" Gurczynski (coach)
