THREAT departs NIP after six years with club

NIP's Counter-Strike Technical Director Björn "THREAT" Pers has announced on Twitter that he has parted ways with the organization by mutual agreement. The Swedish specialist has worked in the club since the beginning of 2016.

Over the six-year period, THREAT has occupied various positions in the Ninja's structure. He has been an analyst, assistant coach, head coach, while since the beginning of this year, he has managed the club's CS:GO division, which includes the main and academy rosters, as well as the women's team.

During the cooperation with Pers, NIP have constantly competed at the tier-1 level and have claimed three big event titles: DreamHack Masters Malmo 2016, IEM Oakland 2017 and IEM Fall 2021. The Swedes' best result in the world ranking over this time is the first spot which they held for a week at the end of 2016.

THREAT noted in his message that over the past year he missed working closely with the players. He is now open to job offers for 2023.
