Rumors: ALTERNATE aTTaX to leave CS:GO

Esports organization ALTERNATE aTTaX will withdraw from the CS:GO pro scene, 1hp.de reports, citing its own sources.

According to journalists, the organization's management has yet to make a final decision, but leaving CS:GO is the most likely scenario.

Rumors about ALTERNATE aTTaX's departure from Valve shooter's pro scene come following the news of the club's parting with all the players, as announced by the roster members themselves. According to Max "PANIX" Hangebruch, shortly after the loss to Sprout in the consolidation final of the national German championship ESL Meisterschaft Autumn 2022 Finals, the organization unexpectedly ceased cooperation with the squad.

The former ALTERNATE aTTaX roster was assembled at the beginning of this year and has since undergone several changes, yet failed to achieve any significant success. The Germans attended mainly national tournaments and European tier-3 events.

ALTERNATE aTTaX was founded in 2003 and is now one of the most eminent esports organizations in Germany. At various times it has been represented by such German players as Fatih "gob b" Dayik, Tizian "tiziaN" Feldbusch, Florian "syrsoN" Rische and Nils "k1to" Gruhne.

ALTERNATE aTTaX were:

Max "PANIX" Hangebruch
Lukas "FreeZe" Hegmann
Patrick"pdy" Merken
Paul "PerX" von Erdmannsdorff
Michalis "awzek" Napoloni
