HLTV Award Show 2022 announced with live audience

On January 14, 2023, Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, will host an event called HLTV Award Show 2022, during which HLTV.org will sum up the results of the current year in the CS:GO pro scene and, among other things, name the best player in the world. The announcement was published on the reputable media company's official website.

The press release notes that the HLTV Award Show 2022 will become a full-fledged awards ceremony, featuring not only the unveiling of the best player of the year but also winners of a number of other nominations. In particular, HLTV.org will for the first time honor the best players and teams of the women's CS:GO scene.

The HLTV Award Show 2022 will be attended by around three hundred notable representatives of the pro scene, who will be given invitations by the organizers. Everyone else will be able to watch a live broadcast on HLTV.org's Twitch channel.

Over the course of several weeks before the start of the HLTV Award Show 2022, HLTV.org authors will traditionally reveal one esports athlete from the top 20 at a time, starting from the end. The current holder of the prestigious best player in the world title is NAVI's Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev.
