EliGE: "I just feel like Liquid are the Grand Slam roster right now"
Liquid's Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski commented in an interview to Dust2.us on his team's success at BLAST Premier World Final 2022, where the North American squad reached the grand final earlier today. According to him, with Mareks "YEKINDAR" Galinskis on board, the roster is perfectly complete and ready to win tournaments.
Ever since Mareks joined, I just feel like we're the Grand Slam roster right now. We're so close to it. We're playing super good, our comms are great. Obviously we still have a lot more work to do, but all the pieces are there. We just have to keep acting on it, keep improving it, and we're gonna win these tournaments.
YEKINDAR joined Liquid after the summer off-season this year. Together with him, the team finished 5-6th at IEM Cologne 2022, 2nd at ESL Pro League Season 16 and 3-4th at BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022, as well as ended the recent IEM Rio Major 2022 a step away from getting into the top eight and securing "Legend" status.
In the grand final of BLAST Premier World Final 2022, which will take place tomorrow, December 17, the EliGE-led side will face the winners of the G2 – FaZe matchup. You can follow up on the tournament on our website via this link.
