Twistzz: "To be honest, I already like Anubis more than Dust2"

FaZe's Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken shared his impressions of first practices on Anubis, which has only recently been added to the competitive map pool. After besting G2 at BLAST Premier World Final 2022, the Canadian esports athlete said on the broadcast that all the participants of the ongoing tournament were preparing to play on the new location and that he and his team consider Anubis to be more interesting than the replaced Dust2, despite a number of issues.

Pretty much every team is practicing it [Anubis] right now besides... Actually, I mean, I've literally seen every team practice Anubis. Everyone is just trying to feel out the map and see how it plays. I think for us it's a cool map, you know. People are kind of liking it individually. Unfortunately, they [Valve] didn't patch this B entrance. The whole site is kind of messed up. Even this middle site thing, you can't throw nades around it, it's really complicated. But yeah, I think Anubis plays pretty well. To be honest, I already like it more than Dust2.

BLAST Premier World Final 2022 marked the first big event featuring Anubis in the map pool. The map has already debuted in the Liquid – Outsiders match, where the North American squad came out on top.
