ESIC lifts HUNDEN's ban

The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) has announced that a two-year ban of former Heroic coach Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen, who was convicted of disclosing confidential information about the team's strategies, has been lifted. The press release was published on the official website of the organization.

The announcement states that on November 29, ESIC and Petersen had a personal meeting, in which they came to terms on cooperation. The Danish specialist agreed to undertake "relevant training", and in return was granted a review of his ban on participation in tournaments.

HUNDEN himself wrote on his Twitter page that he would not give additional comments on ESIC's statement, and also thanked the lawyers for helping to successfully resolve the case.

In 2021, the Esports Integrity Commission banned Petersen for two years for sharing Heroic's tactics with an opposing team at IEM Cologne 2021. As it turned out later, the coach leaked his squad's stratbook to one of Astralis' employees.
