G2 start working with former Complexity and 100 Thieves psychologist

American Edward Cleland has joined G2 as a psychologist, according to the specialist's announcement on his Twitter page.

Prior to joining G2, Cleland gained prominence in esports after working with the rosters of 100 Thieves and Complexity. Besides the CS:GO teams, he also cooperated with Evil Geniuses, fnatic and NRG, where he was engaged in the development of teams in other disciplines.

Cleland specializes in optimizing the health and performance of both entire teams and individual esports athletes. A presentation on his official website states that in his work, he primarily focuses on nutrition, mindset, movement and lifestyle of players.

G2 are currently at a bootcamp in Berlin, but on November 23-27 they will be competing at BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022 in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. The European squad's opponents in the group stage will be NAVI, Liquid and Fluxo.
