Heroic to face Outsiders in IEM Rio Major 2022 grand final

The teams that will play in the grand final of IEM Rio Major 2022 have been determined now that both semifinal matches are played out. The last confrontation of the ongoing Major will be between Outsiders, who had booked a spot in the final earlier, and Heroic, who defeated FURIA 2:1 – 6:16 on Inferno, 19:17 on Ancient and 16:5 on Nuke..

FURIA finished the Major in Rio in 3-4th place. The Brazilian squad started the competition from the Legends Stage, where they bested ENCE, Team Spirit and BIG, after which knocked out NAVI in the quarterfinals.

The Outsiders – Heroic matchup will take place on November 13, at 21:00 MSK. The squads will lock horns in a best-of-three. The winners will be bringing home $500,000 in prize money while the runner-ups will end up with $170,000.
