IEM Rio Major 2022 organizers reveal what arena for playoffs looks like

ESL, which organizes IEM Rio Major 2022, has unveiled on social media the appearance of the arena where the playoffs will be playing out. The decisive matches of the Major will be hosted by the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro.

As previously reported, during the playoffs the teams will be placed opposite each other in the center of the arena, with the fans surrounding them from all sides. For the convenience of the audience, the arena is equipped with large screens.

Initially, the stage was supposed to be located in one part of the arena, so that all the fans were in front of the players. ESL increased the number of seats after the hype that arose during ticket sales.

It is expected that in such a configuration Jeunesse Arena will be able to accommodate up to 18,000 people. The organizers did not specify the exact number of seats in the arena.

The playoffs of the ongoing Major will start today, November 10, with two quarterfinal matches. Outsiders will face off against fnatic at 20:00 MSK, while the meeting between MOUZ and Cloud9 is set to kick off at 23:30 MSK.
