magixx: "hally is the main reason why we are playing well"

Team Spirit's member Boris "magixx" Vorobiev gave an interview to the organizers of IEM Rio Major 2022 after making the tournament's playoffs, where, among other things, he noted the important role of coach Sergey "hally" Shavaev in the team's success. The player's words came as a response to the request of interviewers of the English-language analytics studio to describe their teammates.

Patsi is a guy who's doing the crazy plays. He's made for it. You need confidence and you can't get this confidence from the game, it should be natural, from inside. chopper is just a mastermind. He has a kindergarten around him. w0nderful is insane, even with the AWP, even with a rifle. He hits naughty shots and he's only 17. s1ren is doing the big clutches, big multikills and big anchoring. And hally is the main reason why we are playing well. We all five as a unit are listening to him, we believe in him and we are doing what he is telling us to do. He is the main reason of our successes and good performances throughout the year.

magixx also commented on the victory over Liquid in the match for a playoff spot at IEM Rio Major 2022. He is glad that the CIS squad managed to win even despite the lack of support from the Brazilian fans.

It was our fifth match in this group stage. Every match we played, the crowd was cheering against us. It was a pure pleasure to make them silent. It was a great performance overall. I'm looking forward for the playoffs because there will be a bigger crowd, it will be much louder, and we will make them silent. Or not.

In the quarterfinals of the ongoing Major, Team Spirit will face off against Heroic. The confrontation will take place on Friday, November 11.
