BIG CGO explains why s1n doesn't have his Major sticker

BIG Chief Gaming Officer Christian Lenz explained why the member of the German team Elias "s1n" Stein did not get a sticker at IEM Rio Major 2022 in an interview with well-known skin market analyst ohnePixel. According to the head, it has to do with Valve's rules, which do not allow a substitute to have a sticker.

Lenz added that he is currently in contact with Valve and hopes that s1n will get his sticker soon.

Unfortunately, he didn't get a sticker, but I'm trying everything I can to make that still happen. It's not up to me, it's up to Valve. I think I gave some very good feedback points, so they just have to accept it at some point, let's pray. Why did that happen? There is a very simple rule. If you are a substitute, you don't get a sticker. But then the question is, why do you have to submit a sticker if you are a substitute? Makes no sense, right?

s1n has been representing BIG as a stand-in since September this year, when he replaced Josef "faveN" Baumann, who was out of action indefinitely after falling ill. With the young player from their own academy team on board, BIG had a successful run at the European RMR tournament, after which they failed to qualify for BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022.
