ESL reveals what stage looks like for two starting phases of IEM Rio Major 2022

Tournament operator ESL has shown what the stage will look like during the Challengers Stage and Legends Stage at IEM Rio Major 2022. The company published the image on its Twitter account.

The stage has places for four teams, two of which will play, while two other squads at this time must set up their computers and warm up to join the fight right after the end of the previous game. This is done to avoid technical delays.

Since the Challengers and Legends stages imply several time slots with concurrent matches, and only one game at a time can take place on the stage, the organizers moved some of the matches backstage. At the same time, the meetings, the participants of which are backstage, will be broadcast to the audience on additional screens on the sides of the stage.

About four thousand fans will be able to watch the Challengers Stage and Legends Stage matches live. These games will be hosted by the RioCentro Hall conference center, while the playoffs will play out at the 20,000-seater Jeunesse Arena.

IEM Rio Major 2022 starts today, October 31, and ends on November 13. Over the course of two weeks, 24 teams will compete for a total prize pool of $1.25 million.
