Official: device returns to Astralis

Astralis have announced on their official website the return of Nicolai "device" Reedtz, who represented the Danish team from 2016 to 2021. Thus, the information previously published by Jaxon.gg was confirmed.

Astralis bought out Reedtz from NIP for an undisclosed amount, which, according to rumors, amounted to €600,000. The AWPer entered a multi-year agreement with the Danish club.

After Reedtz's signing, Astralis management decided to move Asger "Farlig" Jensen to the bench. The organization will help the player find a new home.

device played for NIP from August to December 2021, after which he went inactive for unspecified medical reasons. In a comment to Astralis' press office, the sniper noted that he is now ready to return to the professional scene.

Astralis' first matches after device's comeback will take place at Elisa Masters Espoo 2022. The tournament will be held in Finland from November 16 to 20.
