Gabe Follower: VACnet is now better at tracking players' movements

Valve might have improved its anti-cheat with the latest CS:GO update, as reported by Gabe Follower, a well-known content maker in the community, referring to changes in the game code.

According to the information published, Valve anti-cheat's neural network, known as VACnet, has become better at tracking players' movements. In particular, extra attention will be paid to the possible use of BunnyHop cheats and fast mouse flicks that might be a pointer to auto-aim.

VACnet is an addition to the VAC anti-cheat based on artificial intelligence released in the spring of 2018. The neural network analyzes the behavior of players during the game.

Interestingly, the biggest ban wave in 2022 took place in the second half of July. In two weeks, a total of over 20K accounts were blocked, after which the daily average grew from 150-200 to 500-600 bans.
