Pimp: "The future of Astralis will be just fine. It can hardly get any worse than it is right now"

Esports analyst Jacob "Pimp" Winneche took to Twitter to share his opinion on the prospects of Astralis. He believes that having several high-profile players allows the Danish club to successfully rebuild the roster and overcome the difficult period.

Winneche analyzed the situation Astralis is currently in ahead of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2022 Europe. The tournament is scheduled to kick off today, October 19.

Danish Counter Strike has never been stronger, yet Astralis has never been weaker. I’ll leave the rest for you to figure out. Today could be the last day we see Astralis as we "know" them. Changes will happen, and with out them qualifying for Blast Fall finals above teams like Heroic, Vitality, and BIG, their season is pretty much over. My gut tells me the future of Astralis will be just fine. It can hardly get any worse than it is right now, that’s a dire reality. People also do tend to forget what quality some of the remaining players persist. gla1ve, blameF, device, Staehr, Xyp9x. There’s enough quality right there to make me believe in a positive future.

Astralis will start BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2022 with a match against Eternal Fire, which will take place today at 20:30 MSK. Besides the Turks and the z, Heroic and BIG, the opponents of Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander's men in the fight for one ticket to BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022 will be ECSTATIC, Sangal and TYLOO.
