IEM Rio Major 2022 full team list determined

The full list of teams participating in IEM Rio Major 2022 is known now that the RMR tournaments for the European, American and Asian regions have been played out. The qualifiers took place from October 4 to 9.

The European region will have the largest representation at the Major, with sixteen squads going to Brazil. America and Asia will be represented by six and two teams, respectively.

IEM Rio Major 2022 will take place in Rio de Janeiro from October 31 to November 13 and will be split into three stages: Challengers Stage, Legends Stage and Champions Stage. The first two stages will be played according to the Swiss system, while the Champions Stage will feature the Single Elimination format.

The prize pool of IEM Rio Major 2022 amounts to $1.25 million, of which $500,000 will go to the champion.
