Liquid to start IEM Rio Major 2022 from the Legends Stage

Liquid won the Americas RMR event to earn a spot in the Legends Stage of IEM Rio Major 2022. In the first place decider, Nick "nitr0" Cannella's squad took over Evil Geniuses 2:0 – 25:23 at Ancient and 19:17 on Overpass.

Liquid went through IEM Road to Rio 2022 Americas RMR undefeated. On the way to the decisive game against Evil Geniuses, the team consecutively beat TeamOne, MIBR and Complexity.

The Americas RMR will end with the match between Complexity and Imperial for the last ticket to IEM Rio 2022. The North American team got the opportunity to play this game thanks to having the best Buchholz score, while the Brazilians previously bested paiN (16:14 on Vertigo and 19:16 on Overpass).
