G2 to face Vitality in ESL Pro League Season 16 semifinal

G2 advanced to the ESL Pro League Season 16 semifinals where they will face off against Vitality. The Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen-led squad secured a spot in the top 4 after besting NAVI in the quarterfinal match, which ended 2:1 – 13:16 on Dust2, 16:9 on Inferno and 16:9 on Mirage.

The ongoing EPL season's semifinal between G2 and Vitality will take place tomorrow, October 1, at 20:00 MSK. The Cloud9 – Liquid matchup, being the second semifinal, will play out on the same day but at 16:30 MSK.

NAVI finished ESL Pro League Season 16 in 5-8th place. The European team's loss also sees it join FaZe, MOUZ and Outsiders among the eliminated in the quarterfinals.
