Apeks withdraw from all tournaments amid poor results

Norwegian organization Apeks has announced on Twitter that it has decided to withdraw its main CS:GO team from all tournaments.

Insufficient results of the European roster are cited as the reason for such a decision. It was also reported that the team needs an indefinite amount of time to analyze the situation and evaluate prospects.

The current Apeks lineup was completed in early August of this year, when the eminent Frenchman Richard "shox" Papillon joined the team. Since then, the team has failed to qualify for the European RMR event, finished in 3-4th place at Fragadelphia 17 and in 19-21st at CCT Central Europe Series 2.

Apeks' announcement about the temporary break from competition came shortly before the match against PALOMA in the playoffs of ESEA Advanced Season 42 Europe. Due to the withdrawal of the opponent, the Polish squad goes straight to the upper bracket semifinal.
