Heroic and MOUZ book ESL Pro League S16 playoff spots; HEET eliminated

Following the results of four rounds in Group C at ESL Pro League Season 16, the first two finalists and an outsider have been determined. Heroic and MOUZ guaranteed their participation in the playoffs, while the French team HEET lost the chance to continue the competition in the next stage of the tournament.

Besides Heroic and MOUZ, the victory on the concluded matchday was secured by Astralis, who played an elimination match against ENCE. The Casper "cadiaN" Møller-led squad inflicted HEET a decisive defeat 2:1 (11:16 on Vertigo, 16:9 on Overpass and 16:12 on Nuke), MOUZ took over Complexity also in a three-map affair (16:11 on Overpass, 12:16 on Ancient and 16:7 on Inferno), while the last match of the round ended after two maps played (16:13 on Mirage and 16:11 on Dust2).

All meetings of the final, fifth round of Group C will take place on September 18 at 20:30 MSK. The matchups are as follows: Heroic – Astralis, ENCE – Complexity and MOUZ – HEET.
