FaZe return to number one spot in HLTV.org's ranking

FaZe have ousted NAVI from the number one spot in the ranking of the strongest teams in the world according to HLTV.org. Following a weekly update, the gap between the main competitors for leadership is only three points.

The top 5 also saw Liquid and Vitality improving their positions, overtaking Astralis to now occupy third and fourth places, respectively. Separately, it is worth noting the drop of Cloud9 from fifth to eleventh spot, which allowed Movistar Riders, G2 and MOUZ to climb up the ranking.

In the second half of the ranking, standing out with significant progress are fnatic (+9), paiN (+13), Imperial (+8), Entropiq (+8) and Endpoint (+10), who over the past week managed to gain points playing at ESL Challenger Melbourne 2022 and ESL Pro League Season 16. The biggest drop-offs of the week are Bad News Eagles, Falcons and Complexity, who found themselves out of the top 30.

The HLTV.org's ranking is updated weekly and primarily takes into account the results for the last two months. The team's achievements over the past year are also considered, while the number of points for past success decreases every month.
