kane and bondik join EC Kyiv on ESEA platform

Coach Mikhaylo "kane" Blagin and esports athlete Vladyslav "bondik" Nechyporchuk are featured in the EC Kyiv roster on the ESEA competitive platform. This information was noticed amid a rebuilding phase currently going on in the Ukrainian team.

Today, August 28, EC Kyiv on social media announced that Vadim "Flarich" Karetin and Oleksandr "Smash" Turchyn were put on the bench. The announcement on the removal of the two from the starting five comes shortly after the squad's elimination from the final open qualifier for the upcoming European RMR event.

CEO of the Ukrainian organization Maksym Bednarsky stressed that the team is now testing potential newcomers. The head also noted that tomorrow, August 29, the club will unveil another coach, who will start working alongside the current EC Kyiv coach Roman "WOLF" Mikhaylenko.

kane, who is best known as a former NAVI skipper, is currently without a team. After parting ways with Natus Vincere in 2019, the specialist had a fruitless stint of coaching The Incas and several times acted as an analyst for Russian-speaking studios covering big tournaments.

bondik recently made an unsuccessful attempt to return to the professional scene with the Ukrainian Cossacks lineup. The composition, which he assembled with ex-NAVI player Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev, disbanded a month after its creation.

The revamped EC Kyiv roster is expected to be announced shortly. Tomorrow, August 29, at 14:00 MSK, the Ukrainian team will face off against PALOMA in the group stage of CCT Central Europe Series 1.
