K23 announce FinigaN signing

K23 have signed 23-year-old Russian esports athlete Vladislav "FinigaN" Usov, the Kazakhstani club has announced via its official Twitter account.

Usov will take over the IGL role that previously belonged to Sanzhar "neaLaN" Ishkakov, who moved to Evil Geniuses.

FinigaN started playing for K23 a month ago, as was then reported by insider Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov. With the new captain on board, the team became one of the winners of the second open qualifier for the upcoming European RMR tournament.

Prior to joining K23, Usov represented AVANGAR where he spent the first half of 2022 without achieving much success. At the end of July, the club parted ways with the Russian and formed a new all-Kazakh roster.

K23's next matches will take place in the European division of ESL Challenger League Season 42. On August 28, the Russians will debut in Group D, where their opponents will be Sprout, AGO and Entropiq.

 K23's current lineup is:

 Daniil "X5G7V" Maryshev
 Bogdan "xsepower" Chernikov
 Konstantin "Raijin" Trubarov
 Timur "clax" Sabirov
 Vladislav "FinigaN" Usov

 Aset "Solaar" Sembiyev (coach)
