headtr1ck gets invited to FPL

NAVI Junior player Daniil "headtr1ck" Valitov has received a direct invite to FACEIT Pro League, the competitive platform has announced via its social media.

FACEIT's press release notes Valitov's good performance in FPL-C, where he averaged 22.6 kills per match, while his K/D amounted to 1.22. "It's the right time for the young talent of NAVI to get his chance in FPL", the platform's statement said.

FPL is a closed ladder for professional players on the FACEIT platform, where people can get after being invited like headtr1ck, or through qualifying divisions, as former NAVI Junior's in-game leader Rodion "fear" Smyk recently did. The league boasts a monthly prize pool of $14,000.

The FPL invite is handed to Valitov ahead of BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022, where the Ukrainian may play as NAVI's stand-in and replace Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev. This was previously reported by Dexerto, yet at the time of publication of the material, Natus Vincere did not officially confirm this information.

If headtr1ck does step in for NAVI in the upcoming BLAST event, then this will be his second tournament in the club's main team camp. In the spring of this year, he replaced Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov in three matches of the ESL Pro League Season 15 group stage.
