gade released by BIG

Danish player Nicklas "⁠gade⁠" Gade is no longer part of BIG, the German club announced via its social media.

The organization decided to prematurely terminate the contract with gade so that the esports athlete could explore new career opportunities as a free agent.

gade's parting with BIG was announced seven months after the player had been removed from the starting five. In December last year, the Dane was replaced by Josef "faveN" Baumann, whom the club bought from Sprout for a record-breaking amount for the German CS:GO scene.

gade⁠ played for BIG in the second half of 2021. During this period, the Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz-led team failed to succeed at any big tournament.
