neL: G2 sign HooXi

Dane Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen will continue his career with G2. According to insider Guillaume "neL" Ratier, the club has reached an agreement with Copenhagen Flames to buy out the IGL, who has already signed a full-fledged contract with the new organization.

The information about Nielsen's transfer to G2 came the next day after insider information from Dexerto regarding the captain being included in the team's roster submitted for BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022. It was then not specified in which status he would show up at the tournament.

HooXi has represented Copenhagen Flames since mid-2021. Throughout this time, the team showed their best results at the Majors when they stopped one step away from making the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 playoffs and finished in the top 8 at PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

In May, the Danish organization put Nielsen on the transfer list along with Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard and Rasmus "Zyphon" Nordfoss. This happened after Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi and Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen had been sold to fnatic.

HooXi is expected to replace previous in-game leader Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen, who was allowed to explore new career opportunities. According to rumors, the lineup will be finalized by Australian Justin "jks" Savage.

In case of official confirmation of neL's information, G2 will start the next season with the following roster:

 Nikola "NiKo" Kovač
Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač
Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov
Justin "jks" Savage
Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen
