Twistzz overtakes Stewie2K in prize money won among North American players

The victory at IEM Cologne 2022 has put Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken ahead of Jake "Stewie2K" Yip in the total prize money earnings among North American players, according to the data provided by Esports Earnings.

So far, Twistzz has won $1.2 million, while Stewie2K’s earnings amount to $1.1 million. These players are ahead of Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, who is the next North American player in the ranking with $1M under his belt.

The leaders of the professional CS:GO scene in terms of the amount of prize money won are Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth, Nicolai "device" Reedtz and Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander. Playing together in Astralis, the Danes have become the champions of many big tournaments, including several Majors. These victories have made a significant contribution to their earnings, which add up to almost $2 million.
