Eternal Fire part ways with Calyx

Eternal Fire have parted ways with Buğra "Calyx" Arkın, the Turkish club announced on social media.

Eternal Fire did not disclose the reason for Arkın's removal from the main roster. There is also no information about whether the player was benched or released from his contract.

Calyx has played for Eternal Fire since the formation of the roster in the summer of 2021. During this time, he helped the team win several national events and make it to PGL Major Antwerp 2022, which they finished in 20-22nd place.

Arkın's departure from Eternal Fire was announced shortly after a series of successful tournaments, where the Turks earned a spot in ESL Pro League Season 16 and took part in the Roobet Cup 2022 playoffs. Given the tournament calendar, the organization has almost two months to sign the fifth player, since the next matches of the team will take place in the above-mentioned sixteenth ESL Pro League season (August 31-October 2).
