Dignitas disband and leave CS:GO

Dignitas have announced their departure from the professional CS:GO scene. The club's roster was disbanded.

The news about Dignitas dropping their CS:GO squad comes a month after all the players were put on the transfer list. The decision was made amid insufficient results of the team, the core of which was formed at the beginning of 2020.

Over the past two years, the Swedish roster has played mainly tier-2 tournaments, not being able to achieve any success. The only significant events for the team were two Flashpoint seasons, which they attended as a league partner.

In their press release, Dignitas emphasized that they had been considering various options for a roster upgrade over the past two weeks, but decided to allow the players to continue their careers elsewhere. The North American organization has clarified that it does not intend to return to CS:GO for the foreseeable future.

Dignitas' lineup was:

 Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg
 Adam "friberg" Friberg
 Ludvig "HEAP" Alonso
 Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli
 Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson
