YEKINDAR on transfer from Virtus.pro: "Nothing has been decided yet"

Former Virtus.pro player Mareks "YEKINDAR" Galinskis, who has been benched in the Russian team since the end of May, commented on his future career. During the live stream on his Twitch channel, the Latvian esports athlete said that he could not disclose the current situation regarding the possible transfer, but at the same time he assured that a final decision had not been made as of now.

Why don't I tell you where I'm going? I can't... Look, there is a contract and there is a transfer. I can't reveal the transfer details, it's obvious. Nothing has been decided yet. It's still unclear where I'm going. My future is drifting in the lake and nobody knows where it ends up. For now, I'm just playing and having fun. Time is on my side, actually.

Virtus.pro announced the decision to remove YEKINDAR from the main roster on May 23. The official announcement noted that the reasons for the replacement of the squad's main star were partly dictated by the "international situation".

Earlier, insider Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov spoke about G2, Liquid, OG and other famous organizations showing interest in YEKINDAR. Meanwhile, OG have already completed the roster and most likely abandoned further attempts to acquire the Latvian.
