Team Spirit invited to $250,000 online tournament

Team Spirit have received a direct invite to Roobet Cup 2022, the news about which the organization shared on its social media. The tournament with a total prize pool of $250,000 will be held online from June 22 to 30.

On the event's team list, the Russian team has likely replaced Copenhagen Flames. Amid rumors about the Danish lineup's disbandment, the team has already refused to play at several events.

Back in early April, the first direct invitees to Roobet Cup 2022 were FaZe, Cloud9, Outsiders, Entropiq, MOUZ and Imperial. Subsequently, they were joined by ENCE, FURIA, Astralis, BIG, Movistar Riders, Complexity, GODSENT, 9z, OG and the mentioned-above Team Spirit.

The tournament will begin with the Double Elimination (GSL) best-of-three group stage, following which the two strongest teams from four quartets will advance to the playoffs. The champion will be determined in the Single Elimination best-of-three bracket.
