MIBR to replace Heroic at IEM Dallas 2022

Heroic will not be able to take part in IEM Dallas 2022 due to "COVID-19 issues" that made it impossible for the Danish team to travel to the US, as reported by the organizers of the upcoming tournament.

The Brazilians from MIBR, who can make it to the venue of the event, were invited as a replacement for Heroic. Based on the ESL rating, the vacant place could have gone to Team Spirit, but the Russian players did not have valid visas.

Last week also saw the news about NAVI and Entropiq not being able to show up at IEM Dallas 2022 due to visa issues. ENCE and NIP, on the other hand, will attend the prestigious tournament with replacements, while Astralis will arrive without a coach.

MIBR will start their run at IEM Dallas 2022, which kicks off on May 30, from Group B. Besides the Brazilians, the fight for the playoff spots will also feature FURIA, Imperial, Liquid, Cloud9, NIP, BIG and Complexity.
