CS:GO's average player count drops by 8.3% in March

The average number of players in CS:GO in February amounted to 581,489 people, which is 53k less than in the previous month (drop by 8.3%). The data was provided by the analytical service Steam Charts.

The decrease in players’ activity in March was also reflected in the peak concurrent player count. At the end of the month, this number added up to 987,993 people, which is 7170 people less than that in February.

The March drop in player count was the first in the current year, with the last time being recorded in December 2021.
