Complexity withdrawn from IEM Katowice 2022 due to inner coronavirus outbreak

Complexity will not be able to show up at IEM Katowice 2022 as several team members tested positive for COVID-19, the tournament organizers wrote on Twitter.

The press release notes that the members of the North American team got the test results prior to their arrival at the venue of the prestigious championship.

General Manager of Complexity’s CS:GO division Graham Pitt tweeted that all the players feel well.

Crazy situation, negative testing all week followed by some positive tests on our last pre-travel tests today. Main thing is everyone is feeling generally healthy and we'll be back on our feet soon. Needless to say we're pretty devastated but it is what it is.

At IEM Katowice 2022, Complexity will be replaced by Movistar Riders. The Spanish team has received an invite based on the ESL Pro Tour ranking and will arrive in Katowice tomorrow, February 14.

The next day after arrival, on February 15, Movistar Riders will play their first match in the Play-In stage against BIG.
