Bymas to miss IEM Katowice 2022 due to COVID-19

Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras, a player of MOUZ, won’t be able to help his team at IEM Katowice 2022 due to the coronavirus he was diagnosed with two days before the start of the tournament, the club announced on Twitter.

During the event, the Lithuanian esports athlete will be replaced by Jon "JDC" de Castro from the academy team. The 21-year-old German, like other members of MOUZ, has tested negative for coronavirus and will be able to join the team in Katowice.

MOUZ will start off at the prestigious tournament from the Play-In stage. On February 15, the European team will face off against GODSENT.
